Scrible is a new service that allows its users to access a set of tools that can highlight, annotate and bookmark different web pages. I think this is a great new tool to use, seeing that over the year you have probably come across a large number of sites that you want to keep note of. It works with a variety of browsers, like Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer. Once you have it installed, it is so easy to use.
Whenever you are on a page, just click the bookmarklet to launch a menu with a whole set of tools. With the Scrible tool set, you can highlight different areas, use sticky notes and change fonts with another set of tools. Just as customizing your own set of notes, you can do the same online with your bookmarked notes!
Once you have annotated and bookmarked a page, it is saved as it appeared to you when you were finished altering it. Just as with most of the other bookmarking tools, you can then share your pages with others.
I think both parents and children may benefit from this tool, especially at the end of the year. Keeping track of the resources and tools you have found can be beneficial now and the years to come!
